I truly enjoy the book’s clear and multidisciplinary approach—especially its excellent Chapters 1 through 4!.
However, please take caution from Chapter 5 onwards: since the book was published in 2011, many recent advances in signal processing, event detection, and predictive strategies are not reflected in the content.
